BIO
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a supervisor endorsement and the Clinical Director for CPW. I received my Bachelors in Psychology from Wright State University (Dayton, OH) and my Masters of Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Saint Francis (Fort Wayne, IN). I have been practicing for 7 years. I have a wide range of experience working with individuals in the IDD (intellectual or developmental disabilities) community, community-based therapy, outpatient therapy, and inpatient setting.

I enjoy working with a wide range of client populations. I have aided many individuals with wide variations of concerns and issues. Some of the most common I have worked with are in the areas of trauma related disorder, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, addiction, emotion regulation, grief, self-esteem, career difficulties, bipolar disorders, schizophrenia, compassion fatigue, and body image.

I offer a safe, non-judgmental environment to help client’s process emotions, thoughts, and beliefs in order to reduce stress and develop proper coping skills and resources to reach their desired goal. I currently specialize in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.

My counseling and therapy style is personal and compassionate. I believe the individual is the driver of their own treatment. I am here to help individuals achieve those goals in the most comforting environment possible. I believe in treating everyone with respect no matter their, condition, ethnic, cultural, or religious background. Many problem areas I work on are intense and emotional, with the right support we can overcome these areas and develop the skills for you to live the life that you would like to.

My clinical approaches mainly consist of: Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy.
The first step to getting anywhere is deciding you're not willing to stay where you are.
